MIKE HICKS

AIKEN, SC - ROBERT MICHAEL "MIKE" HICKS, 61, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, GA following a long illness. Born in Laurinburg, NC, Mike was a son of Clyde Inman Hicks and the late Hobert Lester "Bob" Hicks. He grew up in Aiken and was a former Drill Sergeant in the United States Army.

Survivors include his mother Clyde; two brothers, Jimmy Hicks (Kathi) and Larry Hicks (Deborah Sasser) all of Aiken. He was preceded in death by his father Bob and a brother Patrick.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1 PM in the chapel of Millbrook Baptist Church.
